EVENTS:

STUDENTS: The State Board of Education (SBE) welcomes the nominations of high school seniors for an appointment as a student advisor. Term of appointment is January 2017 -July 2017. Qualifications- · Be an Oregon High School Student in good academic standing. · Be nominated by your high school counselor, principle or district superintendent. · Submit both a letter of interest that explains why you would be a suitable appointment (250 words) and a letter of recommendation from your teacher, principle or superintendent. Nominations are due November 21, 2016 to Jessica.nguyen-ventura@ode.state.or.us


03iurbanteen_logo2STUDENTS –  iUrban Teen’s STEM + Art Summit has been rescheduled for December 10th!  It is a FREE day of STEAM exploration and lunch is provided.  The event aligns with the global Hour of Code events.
