Now more than ever, it’s imperative we provide young people from our region opportunities in STEAM fields and professions to prepare them with the skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce.

How do you join EMSP’s solution?

  • Expose students to STEAM experiences and professions at a young age, through a lens of inquiry and curiosity.
  • Advise education programs to train students in STEAM fields and soft skills, so they are ready to join your workforce.
  • Host internships, allow job shadows, and visit classrooms to help students choose a career path that fits their skills and interests.
  • Give equipment and funds to develop your diverse and local future workforce.

EMSP needs your help and would like to invite you to become a part of our partnership by filling out the forms in this page. EMSP convenes leaders from community organizations, educational institutions, and organizations like yours to work towards an East Multnomah County where all people, particularly underserved communities, have equitable access to and are engaged in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM).

I often tell people that you never know what an opportunity looks like. It might come dressed as something else.
